Course Description

The course is a one day comprehensive study for pharmacists of cardiovascular risk factors, patient assessment for these risk factors and drug therapy management for patients with risk factors. You will study hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and life-style habits leading to acute coronary syndrome, angina, and congestive heart failure. The course will be divided into three lectures in the morning session and two in the afternoon session. Each session will conclude with a panel discussion and a Q&A session. The workbook you receive will serve as a resource for you in your practice. You will also receive a handy reference card with important information to help provide better patient care.

Credits

This program is accredited for 6 hours (0.60 CEUs) of Live CE Credit for pharmacists. You must attend the entire program and submit a completed Activity Evaluation Form to receive CE credit. Gateway International, LLC will mail Statement of CE credit to participants within 2 weeks following the completion of the Evaluation Form.
