Course Description

The topic deals with managing the medication therapy for Asthma and for patients with COPD. You will study the risk factors associated with asthma and review the appropriate use, dose, adverse effects, and contraindications for oral and inhaled asthma agents. You will also study the risk factors associated with the development of COPD and the diagnosis, severity, and treatment goals for COPD based on recent evidence based guidelines.

Credits

This program is accredited for 3 hours (0.30 CEUs) of Live CE Credit for pharmacists. You must attend the entire program and submit a completed Activity Evaluation Form to receive CE credit. Gateway International, LLC will mail Statement of CE credit to participants within 2 weeks following the completion of the Evaluation Form.
